the arch

We spent some time around the gateway arch (jefferson national expansion memorial) this past week. My parents used to always take my siblings and I to St. Louis during summers and we usually stopped by the arch each time. Noah was super excited at the thought of going up into the arch. It was in view from our hotel room and I awoke to him sitting up in bed staring at it the night before we visited. I have to admit that I was excited about taking him up into the arch. The engineering, scale, and construction still gets me every time; It never ceases to amaze me! Check out the welds...
