We rode our bicycles to the lake for the fireworks on the 3rd. The kids had a good time as did we. We did have a scare on our way back though as we ran into a bit of a riot. The crowd was intense and things escalated quickly. Thankfully we made it out and the violence in Milwaukee later that night occurred away from where we were. That kind of thing just doesn't make sense to me and my thoughts go out to those who were victims. It was good to get the kids into bed safe and sound that night.
The next night was less eventful in Whitefish Bay. The fireworks were awesome!!
