thank you

I just want to personally thank Christian for his message. It came at the perfect time.....

Christian,
Thanks so much for your message. It really means a lot to read what you wrote. I recently received some comments from a few readers of my blog and that made me think about why I was keeping this blog in the first place. I decided to shut the blog down to keep from offending anyone, but YOUR message makes me realize that there are more people out there that read the blog and appreciate it more for what it is, than I realized. I only started this blog as a way of recording my thoughts, documenting my making, and a way to save the things that I enjoy looking at and appreciate (not to mention it's a great way to stay connected to close friends and family who live a distance away). You know... more of a personal journal, diary or sketchbook. I really appreciate you taking the time to write. After some thought, I have decided to keep the blog open to anyone who appreciates my personal journal and wants to read.

For those of you who want to nitpick every little thing that I post: No one forces you to read or look at the blog. I didn't start this blog to rip anyone off creatively nor am I trying to get famous from it; It's just a journal. If you are unhappy with something I post, then keep it to yourself and don't bother following my blog.

For those of you who enjoy the blog and appreciate it: Thanks for reading! And more importantly make sure you keep on doing what you love to do and make sure you share that passion with someone else.

  4. Thank you so much for not shutting this blog down. You are a constant source of inspiration and amazement for me and my projects. What you are doing is incredible. My friend and I discuss your postings in awe and I regularly look back through your archive for ideas. Just seeing things like a custom tool to hold a ball bearing so that you can drill it, blows my mind. Thanks man!

  6. How could anybody be offended by a guy creating awesome things?? Must make them feel pretty inferior seeing all the creative and not only useful but beautiful things that you bring to fruition. I am not one to leave comments on blogs but I am glad to hear you are not taking down the site. I check here almost every day, and I am never disappointed. Love the old photos, the metalwork, the BMW updates, etc. Thanks for your openness and taking the time to inspire your readers.
