I anodized and dyed the iris eye and numerous other parts on Friday. I dyed the map part, but I don't like the amount of color on the front, so I think I may go back to raw aluminum. I also powder coated the base plate matt black and prepared everything for assembly before leaving the studio. Mary is coming to shoot the assembly on Monday, so I had to have things together by the end of the day. Jill and I planned a trip to the University of Illinois over the weekend, so I took some time off.
