Just catching up on the blog: A few weeks ago, I picked up a set of Kawasaki KLR handlebars that I stripped and painted. I also swapped out the chrome handlebar risers with the newer style Ural clamps. The old clamps are 1" diameter, so aftermarket handlebar options had to be 1" with 7/8 bar ends for the controls. The new clamps allow me to use more standard bar sizes. The summer I plan on blacking out most of the chrome on the Ural, so while I had the bars off, I painted the speedo bezel/ headlight cover.
