I started work on our new Digital Craft Research Lab today. Yev and I received funding for a computer lab and an output lab from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation. I'll be teaching a 3D modeling course during our Winter session, so I have to get the computer lab up to speed quickly. My tables and chairs came in over the weekend, so I started putting things together today. It's coming together nicely and I like the way the high workbenches and stools look. The computers, projector, and software will go in next. It'll be exciting to get started on the output lab.

Whoa! I didn't know you guys got the grant... Congratulations! If you want a hand with anything, and think I could help, let me know. This weekend is my last soccer game until spring, so my schedule loosens up a bit.
Sounds good and thanks for the offer! I have to check on the computers, but once they're in, we'll have to do some networking stuff. I might need some help with that.
Did someone say networking? I can most certainly help out with that...
