I have slowly been working on the Beetle in the last several weekends. I decided to clean up the front beam on the Beetle before I did a new brake job on it. The trailing arms were frozen in the old beam so they took some persuasion of the heated kind to get out. I sandblasted all the parts and welded up a 4" narrowed beam so I can get the wheels to tuck a bit.
