I picked up a couple sets of Amal levers for the Montesa and a future project. These are the same levers that came on my Cota 348 and I always loved the design of the clutch/brake adjustment. The perch isn't threaded and the adjuster has a cam-like mechanism that helps it seat against the perch. That way when you adjust it your'e not screwing into the aluminum perch which always seems to get galled and buggered up (like what used to happen on the old hondas I used to own/neglect). It's simple, but I like it. Also picked up a new Rodders Digest this past weekend; love the quality of this magazine and the stories of historic backyard builds.
