The original finish on the floors was tough to get through. I'm glad we stripped it, but it was a bear to get up (like scraping thick sappy fudge). I managed to get the floors sanded tonight. I still need to run the edger around the outside, but the drum sander did a great job and I was able to run it without making any mistakes. Can't wait to be done with these!
