small towns & wind turbine wings

It's always good to get off of the interstate for a while. On Thursday we decided to drive north-east through Kansas on two lane highway so we could catch the interstate again in Nebraska. It was nice for a change to see a little more than just interstate roadside. We saw several junkyards, a lot of harvesting, and a few small towns (it kinda felt like home but more sparse). We hopped back on the interstate around Lincoln, Nebraska and started heading North up through Omaha. There are several wind farms going up in Nebraska and we must have met over fifty of theses semis carrying the wings for wind turbines both on two lane and interstate byways. It really gives you perspective on how large the wind turbines are.
