fly fishing reel

Michael (HaveBlue) sent this link to me. They person makes a fly reel with a Myford lathe. This really demonstrates the capabilities of the lathe. I've always dreamed of owning a Myford since first getting into machining. Maybe one of these days... Gotta love the intended purpose of the final piece as well. Although I never really fly fished (other than messing with an old rig that my Dad had), I used to spend a lot of summer afternoons and evenings fishing. I guess that's what happens when you have a pond in your backyards and many great "holes" in biking distance of your house. I remember those days fondly.
