The folks from Tormach came to visit me at Kenilworth today. It was great to meet Julie, Cassie, Andy and Dan. I had a great time talking to them and it was good to hear about some of the things they are working on. I'm really amazed by how much they've grown in the last few years and how their videos and information is getting out to a larger audience these days (you might have noticed one of their mills in the IDEO/David Kelly segment on 60 minutes). I was also excited to hear more about where they're at on the cnc lathe front. They took me out to lunch when we were finished filming. It was a great way to spend the day. I highly recommend looking at their site and their machines if you're in the market for a capable CNC mill. While you're there check out how their customers are putting their mills to work.
They were so kind and friendly and they even brought me a new shirt with my name on it! It's just like my Casey Tool and Die shirts that I had when I worked my factory job, but way better!

Congrats on your interview(s)!?! Sounds like you've had people knocking down your door.
I know, I know, that the last thing you would ever want. That's what makes the whole thing so interesting.
