Noah's baseball team finished in first place for the season and won the little league championship on Saturday. He was flying high. The game was close for a little while and it was tense, but his team prevailed. I think he was surprised that Craig Councell (former MLB player and Whitefish Bay native) was there to pass out the championship trophies. The park that Noah plays at is named after Craig Councell so it was fitting. Noah also participated in the home-run derby, but he wasn't able to crush any during the event. He was bummed and we had to remind him of last years losing season and the two trophies that he had just received. Funny how the young mind works and how quickly things are forgotten. On second thought maybe that applies to any age mind. Anyway, we had a great day at the park and we couldn't be more proud of him and his team. Congrats, Noah!
