I discovered a couple holes in the canteen, but it polished up fairly nice. I might have to find a place for it in my sidecar. It would be so fitting to be kept with the bike and sidecar. A German made 1955 R50/2 motorcycle with the attached Chinese made CJ750 copy, of a Russian copy of the German made WWII R75 sidecar; with a 1955 Russian made canteen inside.
