My summer Design for Digital Fabrication course just wrapped up. I'll post some images from their final chess set assignment in the next several posts. Melissa Agabigum modeled the set you see here. She struggled a bit with Rhino in the beginning and had to overcome the difficulties of virtual manipulation of objects, but she really took to rendering (as you might be able to see here). The quality of the work form the students in this course keeps rising and I'm really excited to see how this course will develop.
