I had to take the Form1 apart to clean the lenses on it. They had acquired quite a bit of dust and were overdue for a cleaning. It's interesting how simple the Form 1 really is. It seems well thought out in terms of it's construction and it was cool to crack it open. I need to get some new resin though. My resin must have gone past it's shelf life even though I had bottles of un-opened resin. Wonder if there is a way to "re-vive it".

How did you know the lenses were bad? I am just curious. We have had mixed results from our printer. Sometimes it just wont print things.
I was getting de-lamination of prints and nothing was working. This thing has been nothing but trouble though.
Yeah our machine will print great things every now and then. More often than not the prints fail. It is frustrating. We just bough two ASIGA machines. I did a little research and I guess they are the industry standard for a lot of companies. We might just pitch the Form1s I think we might get one FDM machine as a workhorse. I do like those new MCOR desktop guys.
Yeah, I saw that you purchased the ASIGA machines. They look NICE; can't wait to see your prints! The MCOR does look cool as well. I saw one at a recent industrial machine trade show and the full color prints are gorgeous. I look forward to a blog post on the ASIGA!
