Your latest posts amaze me. There probably aren't two guys who enjoy and appreciate the same things more than we do - especially guys separated by a generation. Sidecars, old cars and trucks, TIG welding, and our choice of professions. Thanks much for posting the photos of the old truck. It'd be nice to rebuild one of those flatheads and drop it in there. Definitely my kind of rig. Single seater speedster with an inline six? I'm progressing on mine. '58 Ford Skyliner? Never had one of those around but my dad had a '58 Ranchero that was pretty cool.
Your comments on your evaluation and the basic cluelessness of other faculty members struck home. I'll just say I feel your pain and let it go at that.
Best wishes to you and yours this holiday season. Keep posting as time allows. Always interested in what you're involved in.
Thanks so much for the kind words. I always feel the same way when I read your blog. I think we would have a lot to talk about if we ever met in person.
I keep kicking myself for not posting here more, especially during my move to North Carolina. I appreciate this format more than Facebook or Instagram as this causes me to be a bit more reflective and actually feels like it's worth doing.
I enjoy reading other people's blogs so much more than social media. I end up coming back to things on blogs years later to show students or to revisit ideas I've had. Seeing what you're working on is also big motivation for me. keep up the amazing progress.
