adam adcock collab

I've been collaborating with Adam Adcock on a sculpture that he is creating. He cut out and formed these long steel forms and I am pocketing both sides of the ends of these pieces so I can then create an anodized aluminum three dimensional seed pod inspired form that will sit inside the pockets. These are a part of a much larger pieces that incorporates CNC milled wood and more steel forms. It should be interesting to see how the pieces I'm milling will work with the pieces he has made. 

I used some scrap HDPE to create a makeshift fixture for holding these pieces in play. It's janky but it's worked really well since the piece has to extend out off of the machine.
