vintage race cars
A couple of great shots of old race cars from the Chicago Tribune. I sure do miss going to Millers at the Mile in Milwaukee.

new miller 212
My new Miller 212 Mig Welder came in yesterday. I drove over to AppState Receiving with the Art Department's truck and picked it up. Then I unbolted it from the skid and loaded it into my car to take to my studio. I am excited to have a welder with some oomph. One of my former students mentioned on Instagram that this was truly a NEW tool for me. He's right, I very rarely get any tool that is brand new unless it's a 3D printer. I hope to be able to take really good care of this fine machine so it will last a long time. Can't wait to use it to build some much needed studio organization shelves, racks, and fixtures.
