Some progress from the printer. It took just a little over five hours to print out the cutter parts. Not too shabby and they look and feel great. Now I just need to model some new stuff. Did I mention the laser cutter is cool too?
I really like the laser cut scrollwork - I've seen lots of laser cut stuff before, but that one is particularly eye catching. The charring around the edges gives it a really nice patina effect and appears to give it much more depth and texture than it actually has.
