Went to Pevnick Design today for a tour of Stephen's business. He builds graphical Waterfalls and ships them all over the world. Sorry, I only took pictures of his machine shop; no waterfall pics, although he did show us a fully functional full scale display model. I was quite impressed with all of the engineering that goes into one of these waterfalls. I stayed after the tour to check out his CNC router (no pics) as I really want to build one of these soon. I then toured the shop area and took some pics of the tooling. Eat your heart out, E- he has a clicker press that he's using to cut gaskets! The old Brown Sharpe Mill was massive! He had to install a step down collet, just so he could use standard size end mills. The Logan was a beauty as well.

ahhh! wtf! not fair! i'm sure there's room for a clicker in kobo.
He told me he traded a fancy drill and toolbit sharpening machine to a guy who owned a bunch of tannery equipment. Speaking of which, one of my students told me about a couple tanneries that used to be here in Milwaukee along the river. He said he explored a couple and found a huge pile of leather scraps in one of the buildings. Sounded cool!
