We poured aluminum and bronze today. Morgan's students had a ton of pieces to pour and Chuck had a couple pieces. His wife is going to love the figure that he cast for her (hopefully I'll have some pics of it tomorrow). One of Chuck's students poured an aluminum open face mold; I'm anxious to see it as well.
Chris Leslie gets the photo credits since he shot pics with my camera while I poured. We poured a bronze cupcake for him. Thanks for the photos Chris! Also had a great vist with Sean after the pour.
I'm going to miss Chuck; he's retiring at the end of this semester. I feel like I need to soak up anything he can pass on to me. I don't want to see the history of foundry at UWM die with Chuck's retirement. Have a lok at the Foundry Tree.
