Remember my new lathe? The one I purchased before the semester got hectic?

It spontaneously fell a part. Ya know, just like everything I buy. Jill tells me that I have a problem. And Eric tells me that I just buy stuff so I can take it apart. I think their both right! Actually, there were a few things that needed to be addressed on the lathe, so I figured I better strip it completely down. I know, I know, Eric. I need another project like a hole in the head. I'll tell ya what... I promise I'll get this one back together fast. Better get to sandblasting.....

I was even able to sandblast the big parts like the bed, base, legs, and chip pan. Man, this thing is heavy!

What to do when it's Christmas Eve and there's no one to help you lift something really heavy onto something else that's kinda heavy.....
