glass panel foam form

Matt started work on a form to make a curved glass panel yesterday. We are going to try and slump glass in the kiln. We cranked up the cnc router to 130ipm so that it could fly through the foam. It's supposed to be able to cut at 150ipm. It was having no difficulty and the motors weren't strained at all. We made a mold box around the final form last night and mixed up some hydra-cal and silica to pour in over it. Everything looks good this morning and Matt should be able to pull the sides off the mold box, flip the form over and evacuate the foam. Then we just to let the mold dry and then we can get some glass.

ordering our CNC in the next couple of days. Pretty stoked. I think we ended up getting a shopbot.
