Lisa Gralnick was our visiting artist this past week. We had a great discussion about the field of metalsmithing during my class and then she did a RTV mold demo during Stacey's class. I learned a ton! She also gave a lecture on her work later that night. It was great to be able to purchase a catalog from her most recent exhibition; she was even kind enough to write in it and sign it for me. I know the students enjoyed her visit as they have all commented on how beneficial her comments about their work were.
