tooling plate

I made a tooling plate for my other mill this weekend. I'm basing it off one this one. This is a much more serious plate than the other one I have. I plan on mounting the fourth axis to this so I made the correct spacing for it. I still have yet to tap all of the holes and make all of the low profile clamps and cams. Making it with the cnc mill allowed for proper hole spacing.

I think I may have to get a tapping head...

I have an A2Z CNC tooling plate (http://www.a2zcorp.us/store/ProductDetail.asp?Cguid={A1CF04BF-71E6-4F37-AD1D-E81793DF6C91}&ProductID=53), but I'm quite jealous of yours...

I do have a Tapmatic 30X tapping head here that I bought a year ago (and haven't yet used) - let me know if you'd like to borrow it!

ohhhhhh! I am the one that is quite jealous of your tapping head! I've been saving up for one. I would love to borrow yours to see if it's one that I would like to get!

Looks like your plate is a project completed long ago!
Did I miss something or are you not using a Taig any longer looks like you have a tormach now?

Oh, I use the Taig all the time. I did get a new Tormach, but that's no excuse to not use the Taig. I like to run both machines at the same time if I can keep up with them both.
