I finished the platen attachment today by making a couple angle brackets, a flat plate, and some tapped holes. I think I'm ready to do some electric motor mounting, wiring, and throw a belt on it so I can make some minor adjustments to everything. Then I need to break it down and smooth all of the edges of the steel. I left everything crisp so I could do all my measurements from sharp edges when doing layout. I might have to give it a paint job too, but we'll see. There's always something about the über functional nature of this stuff that just gets ruined when you slap paint on it.
I also have two other tooling arm attachments that need to be completed. One will have a large contact wheel and the other will have an attachment with easily removable smaller contact wheels. Then I'll have to make the tooling arm rack...
