One of my Intro to Jewelry and Metalsminting students told me that he had taken some photos in our Metals studio last year on a photography walk. Zac shared a link to his flikr account, as well as his Dad's. The top shot is Zac's and the rest are his Dad's. KT is picture annealing some metal in the forming room. Check out their flikr sites if you're interested in seeing more of their work.

Great pics! I think you need to clean the Taig pulley - I usually take a paper towel that's wet with rubbing alcohol and hold it against the spinning pulley - for baked on deposits I use a scotch brite pad. It cuts down on noise and frictional heating that can reduce belt life.

Yes, the studio Taig always sees a lot more neglect due to student use and lack of time on my part to keep up with such regular maintenance. I'll try to get it cleaned up.
I was hoping you would notice the Taig pics though. I owe you so much for introducing me to them!
