Faron just sent me a link to a video about my undergraduate metals professor from EIU, David Griffin. It was good to watch this and see the new EIU metals studio that Dave put together (it looks swanky) as well has his recent work with Rhino, the Roland mill, and the NextEngine Scanner. I'm glad to see he is putting it to use after our discussions. Dave is one of the main reasons I ends up doing what I currently do. He had a great impact on my career decisions and most importantly has influenced the kind of teacher and person that I am. As his student, he always had encouragement and enthusiasm for my ideas and was a positive force in the classroom. Thanks Dave!
