After getting just a light dusting of snow in Milwaukee this season so far, we arrived to a good snow in Illinois for Christmas. It was actually really nice to see a little white stuff. I like it when you can't see the edge of the road, the snow is fresh, and it's dead quiet out in the middle of nowhere. Reminds me of driving home after work in the winter when I was younger. I'm anxious for a heavy snow in Wisconsin after experiencing this.
The kids had a good time drawing at Grandma and Grandpa Flood's house.
