There used to be a forge a few towns away from where I live. And in my teenage youth, took a job there. The youngest piece of equipment was 100 years old. The whole forge was run by a single bet drive. The next two years I learned the hard way, If I had known now what I was experiencing then... Great memory trigger, real cool to see!
Thanks for the comment. I'm so glad to read posts like yours. I've always believed that the work that I did as a kid shaped who I am and my work ethic as an adult. You're right that I wish I could have recognized this fact of life back then and appreciated all of the awful things that I had to do. I learned a lot that's for sure. Anyway, thanks for commenting and keep up the good work on your blog. I always enjoy getting my BMW fix when you post.
