The students in my digital fabrication course worked on a collaboartive project with Bryan Cera's physical computing course for the last part of the semester. My students handled the fabrication components and Bran's students did the wiring and programing. These videos are of two of the group projects as the students were assembling and testing their pieces. The top video is a geared multi layer landscape that is 3D milled. The gears move in and out of alignment to revile the landscape image. The second video is a gyroscopic ball that propels and steers itself via the gyro which is controlled by a rc handset. I'll post pics of the rest of the pieces in a bit.
