Noah's new baseball season started several weeks ago. I took him to his first game a few weeks ago, as Jill was out of town. The team did well and won their game. Noah played catcher (his usual preferred position) and he did well at bat. We have a young team this year, but the kids are doing well due to all of the team practices and the investment that his coaches have made. As I write this Noah has now played four to five games so the season is well underway. He loves playing so much and it's fun to watch him. Last night we attended a rainy winning game and Noah pitched a brilliant 3 up/3 down minimum pitch inning followed by a maximum pitch inning where the home plate umpire was beamed, a batter was beamed, and the catcher was beamed in the kneecap and had to exit the game. Luckily he made it out of the image with any damage to the scoreboard. Ya gotta love the up and down swing, any one can win, type of little league game!
