We drove back to Penland this past Saturday to meet up with Rachel and to take a tour of Penland. It was so good to be able to spend some more time with the work in the Core exhibition and to talk more with Rachel. The area around Penland is gorgeous and the buildings, both new and old, are really beautiful. I love the railings that are around the grounds and it was so cool to have Rachel explain the new railing that was made during Hoss Haley's class. I had seen it's progress on Instagram and so to see the formed bronze railing top and the riveted sections was really a treat.
