I was looking into creating some 520 roller chain sprockets that I could machine on my Tormach CNC. I came across this great program that generates both sprocket dxf and gcode files called Sprocketeer. It's really slick and there is even a browser based version of the program so generating drawings is easy. I tested the import into Rhino and everything looks really clean. This should make things easy to create some custom sprockets.
