Adam and I went over to the Department of Physics and Astronomy Machine Shop today. I met Dana Green who runs the shop. What a great guy. He showed us around the shop; so much capability in such a tight little space. Dana was generous with his time and we discussed everything from hay balers to telescopes to electron microscopes. He even gave Adam and I a training session on a little machinist microscope by measuring a gear for my rolling mill. We walked away with a ton of information and had a great time talking with Dana. I'll have to keep this on the list of cool shops and awesome folks here at App State.
