Eric sent me a message today about this KDF Beetle Book. It looks fascinating. I'm not sure why these cars capture my imagination in such an interesting manner. I find myself captivated by the details with which the people that restore these cars are obsessed about. Somehow I am able to relate to this level of insanity and passion for something mechanical. I am also captivated by the locations that the videos were shot in. There is something comforting about the spaces in which cars, parts, and artifacts live in the background. I find myself wanting to be transported to these locations so I can absorb the history and take in the smells and sights in these ateliers.
