45 adapter/weight

A couple of weeks ago I made this vinyl 45 rpm adapter/weigh for the custodian, Dave, who works in my studio building. He took it home to test and then I ended up turning a small plug for the proper spindle size on his turntable the next day (plug not shown here). I turned this from aluminum and pressed in a turned steel section to add some weight to the whole thing. I believe Dave was really pleased as he told me we need to go into business making these things. I'm not so sure I want to devote my life to this, but it was a quick side project.
