A couple weeks ago, I finished sandblasting the fj40 stock wheels after doing the electrolysis rust removal process. They blasted so easily with the rust and most of the paint removed. It still was about 30 minutes of blasting each wheel, but definitely the easiest set of rims I've sandblasted in a while. I was going to powder coat the rims, but sometime paint just makes more sense especially if I'm ever going to touch them up. The powder sometimes looks so plastic-like as well; So these wheels got primer and paint.
I actually already have the wheels painted on bolted up to the chassis but forgot to take any pictures. It seems I'm a few weeks behind on pictures and blogging lately.
