Steve rode his Puch to the workshop last night. He pointed out the choke that is built into the air cleaner. Just rotate the lever and it chokes the carb a bit. What a killer idea. Reminds me of when my Dad and I used to get ready to start an old clunker for the first time and we'd put our hand over the mouth of the carb to richen it up and choke it. Cool design that's for sure! This bike is really cool. We stood around and talked about the history of Puch and the joys of restoring bikes.

I got home and listened to this and it all makes sense. This is a book I need to read.
