welding workshop

I'm teaching a welding workshop this week. The participants started working last night (Tuesday) after getting demos on mig welding and metal shaping on Monday. I took a lot of my studio tools down to the basement where our graduate metals facility is, so the participants would be able to experiment with different shaping tools. They all are doing great with the welding and several of them are hooked on it already.

The activity in the space has been good to witness. I will be teaching a portion of my Industrial Processes course in this space as well.
