spinning part 2

The second attempt went better. I was careful not to thin the metal and I took my time and kept the excess metal on the flange in check this time. I trimmed the edge using a hss tool bit in my lathe and then I took the form off the chuck. Not too shabby, but I'm sure a real spinning expert would laugh at the lack of skill and the small ridges caused by in inexperienced hand. I think I'm going to enjoy honing this skill though.
