Went to tool paradise today. I couldn't believe all of the tools. The majority were woodworking tools, but I did spy some metalworking equipment. Robert seemed like a really great person. He showed me a brand new tablesaw from a school that recently replaced that table saw with a safety saw (sawstop). The old saw had maybe 20 hours of use on it and it was loaded with fixtures and all the bells and whistles. Kinda weird to think about someone buying two table saws within a month or two.
We talked for a little bit about how the market for machine tools is really low right now. Sounds like people aren't buying right now and a lot of places are getting rid of tools due to closures.
Good time to buy!

whoa! what is this magical place? was it cheap? hydraulic press? sanders?
Magical for sure! Tons-o-sanders. He wants $800 for a delta 6" wide belt w/ disc combo like we had in Metals. I'm not sure how good the prices were because i didn't ask him about everything. The things I asked about seemed fair. We'll have to go.
Was this RIMCO? Ruby told me about this place last week. I found this on their webpage. Magical for sure. I would totally love to grab some stuff from there and setup a studio!

The yellow sodium lighting immediately made me think it was the warehouse at Wisconsin Metalworking Machinery, but they don't deal in woodworking equipment. Their pile of machines is great fun to browse around, though!
Yes, it's RIMCO. Good to hear about Wisconsin Metalworking Machinery though.
