pouring level molds

Chuck volunteered to help me pour them and so we just did it yesterday rather than waiting until Sunday. Good stuff.

Everything went well. We filled the molds up with 43 lbs. of bronze. A lot of that weight is in cups, sprues, and risers. I wanted to keep the velocity up and so there would be enough pressure to fill all of the small parts of the mold. We poured them fast and hot and everything looked good as far as we could tell. Good to have Chuck there for advice and to talk me through it all.
