I made a shock mounting bracket for the /2 conversion today. When you adapt the /6 differential and driveshaft over to the /2 swingarm, you have to nix the old /6 shock mount stud and replace it with a countersunk bolt that attaches a shock mounting bracket that puts the original /2 shock mount in the correct location. I tied the bracket into the axle mount too so I'm sure to have a sturdy mount. I made the bracket out of some 3/8 mild steel that I cut out using a cardboard template. It had to have several bends to tie everything together in the proper locations. I'll powdercoat this once I get everything finalized. I made the bracket after tacking the /6 differential mount to the /2 swingarm.

Good work! I am currently doing this conversion.
3/8 inch mild steel thickness? that would be almost 10mm thick.
Doesn't look like this in the picture.
Thanks. Sorry for the typo. 3/16"
