tormach moves

I hooked the Tormach up to the step up transformer yesterday and held my breath while it started. It works great and the mill now moves under it's own power. I cut the "first-cut file" that comes with the mill in wood. Tormach recommends cutting this file to make sure all is well with the machine. You can see that the feed-rates are quite conservative, so I can't wait to program some new cut files to see what it can do.

Yo, Frankie!

I'm anxious to see some parts that you're making on your bad-boy Tormach!

I notice you also posted about the MTM Snap on your Vimeo page. Did you buy one of those a few weeks ago?

I just paritially assembled my new Zen Toolworks 7x7 CNC mill (2.5D, 7" x 7") and I can't wait to cut something! The mind races.....

No, I didn't buy a MTM snap, just posting some pics of ones seen on the web. Their cool little machines for sure.

I'm anxious to cut some parts on the Tormach as well. Stay tuned....

Make sure to send some pics of things you cut on your machine.
