dcrl fdm 2000

The DCRL has acquired a Stratasys FDM 2000 from Michael (haveblue) Guslick. Michael helped me cart it up to the DCRL and we placed it in the Fab room. It's going to be a welcomed addition to the lab. I reformatted a few computers and fixed one of them up to use with the FDM (I needed one with a com port). I installed the necessary software and made a quick test print. It works beautifully. We can print things with support now! A big thanks to Michael for helping further the mission of the DCRL. We've been able to really build this lab up on a budget, and it just wouldn't have happened without Michael being on the look out for screaming good deals. We owe him big time! He has even volunteered to come in and show us all how to use the machine. So cool!
