Return to the basics of creating,
What is beauty?
Repetition.
Getting back to a simpler environment that lets the work develop slowly but honestly.
Experience working in industry that is devoid of creativity, but overflowing with skill.
Pushing back against the real world experience when it applies to creative pursuits, but using the very knowledge provided by it and responding to things that only that experience can provide.
This also reminds me of talks with Ian about labor as a Iron worker and my factory tool and die experience as well as Eric and creating and free form development by working with repetitive components.
