It appears that the fork tubes were never chromed on these bikes. The tubes are covered by long shrouds so my forks were a rusty mess. I soaked them in my electrolysis rust removal bath and they came out really clean. There is some minor pitting but they are smoother than they appear here. The fork shrouds have a little damage around the headlight mounting ears that I will need to repair, but it's minor. All of the other parts are cleaning up easily.
